Ginevra Gualtieri, the third generation of Gualtieri pastry, has undertaken a bold revolution by embracing innovation with careful restoration that has brought back the enchanting atmosphere of the 1930s to the heart of the area beyond the Arno River called Oltrarno. This meticulous restoration is not just a return to roots, but a true "renaissance" that has transformed the entire pastry experience, bringing it in line with modern tastes while preserving its historical and generational character intact.
A PRESTIGIOUS GLOW: CUSTOM LIGHTINGS
In this transformation, a unique collaboration with Il Bronzetto, another historic reality located in Oltrarno, to maintain tradition but with a touch of modernity, giving rise to extraordinary details: brass chandeliers, as well as sconces, characterized by special milk-colored glass spheres, are custom-made with the utmost precision and passion. Bronzetto has sought to convey what the company has been doing for generations: tell the very essence of tradition and innovation through its products.

The history of Caffè Giacosa dates to the 1800s, when via de’ Tornabuoni and the adjacent streets drew in Grand Tour travellers. Well-heeled wayfarers made their way to Florence for its beauty and history as well as for the city’s exceptional cultural centres to meet interesting and eclectic characters. The Giacosa brothers started their business in the midst of all this in 1860.
A 'WELCOME' SIGNED BY BRONZETTO
As often happens, café and restaurants, always ask to Bronzetto to reproduce the logo and the name of the historic caffé in brass; the result was incredible: an elegant striped handle, one on each door, that opens in the center onto the blue enamelled logo.

Belonging to the Rocco Forte Hotels group, the property chose Il Bronzetto to design new furnishings with a refined and unique taste.
The bar has been redesigned focusing on glamour and playing with a super 'British' color palette: 'racing' green, gold, black and gray, which are reminiscent of Donovan's black and white shots. The contrast between opaque and shimmering surfaces, between light and shadow, recalls the lens of the camera. the worked glass of the table tops from Il Bronzetto's Timeless collection, shines with their inserts in gilded brass and the bronze base radiates with decorations of leaves.
The Donovan Bar is well known as one of the most intimate and sophisticated speakeasy-style bars in London, often hosting guests from Mayfair’s elite art and fashion scene. The large golden half- sphere of the Soundlight chandelier creates the right intimacy and allow customers to choose their own background music thanks to the integrated double bluetooth speaker that can be controlled from any device.

La Goccia restaurant is a true metropolitan Eden. All the furnishings, from the chairs at the counter, to the golden brass appliques, were created on commission by Il Bronzetto. And all these interior arrangements recall naturalistic elements. Leaves and real flowers are mixed up with those of the furnishings creating a relaxing and bucolic atmosphere right in the center of one of the most frenetic European cities.
Sophistication meets rustic elegance in this unique space, with an open kitchen and cocktail bar. Nature remains the main source of our inspiration. The unusual leaf chairs are just one example of the meticulous details involved in the interior design of this restaurant.

The restyling of Regina Bistecca restaurant had to take into account the historicity of the place where since 1870 one of the oldest and most historic antique bookshops, with an art gallery, was located. The objective was to preserve the unique atmosphere of a historical place in which to offer a gratifying experience merging food, art and history. The choice was to light up bookcases, paintings and shelves with elegant and classic picture lamps in natural brass.
For the queen of the meat, the Fiorentina beef steak, Il Bronzetto created precious customized brass stands and trays where the logos of culinary art and craftsmanship stories coexist forever imprinted on bronze.
In the cellar the wines are exposed like old books, the shelves are light up by the rows of elegant Studio picture lamps that define the space and follow the regularity of the geometric lines of the antique bookcases.

Bright rooms, large windows, an Art Déco-inspired design and a comfortable and elegant atmosphere characterize Lino Restaurant, which takes its name from the square, which it overlooks. The setting is characterized by details that dilute the formality to the right extent: paintings, bookcases and furnishings.
For the lighting, the design chosen is contemporary, but with a vintage hint: the Satellite wall lamps by Brass Brothers & Co., with their adjustable arms, natural brass plate and black aluminum shades, together with the Timeless lamps, inspired by the Cosmo line by Il Bronzetto, create an atmosphere of friendly elegance.
The style of the Lino restaurant in Pavia is clean, minimal chic, a bit like the Brass Brothers & Co. Satellite line, designed by Agnese Matteini. The Florentine architect with a master's degree in Fine Art (painting), obtained in Bath-England, is a usual collaborator of Il Bronzetto since 2014.
