Behind the Scenes of Hospitality

February is not a month for guests.
It is the month of those who build what guests will later experience.

Winter is the season of quiet work.
When many hospitality spaces pause — doors closed, lights dimmed, rooms empty — something essential begins behind the scenes.

It is the time of maintenance, restoration, redesign.
The moment when identities are refined, details reconsidered, materials brought back to life.

While hotels and restaurants prepare to reopen, our workshop remains fully active.
Objects take shape long before they are installed.

Because hospitality does not begin when a door opens.
It begins much earlier.

Identity and Detail

Since 1960, in the Oltrarno district, we have combined artisan tradition with technical structure, making deliberate choices about materials, finishes and processes. But identity is also relational: every hotel, restaurant or historic café has its own language. Our role is to listen, interpret and translate. In contemporary hospitality spaces, identity is built through details: entrance plaques, room numbers, signage, handles. Every touchpoint reinforces the brand. Every element shapes perception. A logo becomes matter. A handle becomes gesture.

From Sketch to Suite

The Carlton Milano, a Rocco Forte hotel in the heart of the Quadrilatero, exemplifies this process. After five years of restoration under the direction of Olga Polizzi and interior designers Paolo Moschino and Philip Vergeylen, every element was conceived as part of a narrative of light, proportion and intimate luxury. Within this refined context, our Via Manzoni handle, from the Novecento family, finds its place.
From initial sketch to technical development, what appears effortless in the suite is the result of rigorous design work. The amber burnished brass finish absorbs light and quietly enhances the perception of quality.

This is what working behind the scenes means.

Hospitality, at Our Place

In recent months, we have opened the doors of our workshop to clients, architects and designers. Because every project begins with a conversation. To welcome also means to share knowledge, processes and time.

To experience Bronzetto from within is to understand how metal becomes narrative.

Identity Lives in the Details

From bespoke signage to custom handles, we craft the branding elements that shape memorable hospitality spaces — long before guests arrive.
