Bronzetto X Angelo Mammoliti

Some collaborations begin with a project.
Others, over time, become a dialogue.

The partnership between Bronzetto and Angelo Mammoliti tells exactly this story: the encounter between an artisanal company with long-standing experience in metalworking and the perspective of a young industrial designer, capable of bringing a contemporary, essential and detail-oriented vision to the project.

Mammoliti came to design through a path shaped by technique, curiosity and research. From freehand drawing to 3D modelling, his approach begins in the earliest creative phases, when an idea starts taking shape on a blank sheet of paper and is then observed, adjusted and rethought.

It is precisely within this space for exchange that the dialogue with Il Bronzetto finds its value.

The collaboration comes at a time when the relationship between new generations of designers and artisanal manufacturing feels increasingly necessary. On one side, there are new languages, new sensitivities and new ways of designing. On the other, the workshop: the place where matter responds, detail is defined and an idea becomes an object.

As Mammoliti explains, today people are no longer looking only for large numbersbut for detail.” And it is precisely detail that transforms a product into something more: a presence, an experience, a relationship.

In the case of Canneté, a line already part of the Il Bronzetto catalogue, this dialogue led to the expansion of the family, presented at Euroluce 2023. An evolution that made it possible to explore new interpretations of light while preserving the identity of the line: brass, ribbed glass, essential forms and a soft, sophisticated light.

Yet the value of this partnership lies not only in the final result. It lies in the process.

In the workshop, after the speed of the idea, another kind of time begins: the time of observation, testing and refinement. The project slows down, breathes, moves closer to matter. The designer brings a vision; the company accompanies it through experience, technique and artisanal sensitivity.

This gives rise to a design process that becomes a bridge: between company, architect and final client; between those who imagine, those who make and those who will experience the object within a space.

The collaboration between Bronzetto and Angelo Mammoliti therefore tells of a way of designing founded on exchange. An encounter between generations, between artisanal expertise and a contemporary perspective, between matter and imagination.

Because the most authentic partnerships do not simply produce something. They create relationships, open up possibilities and give new form to tradition.

And from this dialogue comes a different way of interpreting light: more conscious, more human, closer to matter.
