There’s a moment, just as day fades into evening, when light becomes a story. And it’s precisely in that moment that the atmosphere of the terraces at Sheraton Lake Como comes to life — where design and nature meet in perfect harmony.
For this space suspended between lake and mountains, Il Bronzetto created custom “Cage” lamps, designed for outdoor use yet capable of evoking the warmth and intimacy of an indoor setting.
Each brass structure is handcrafted, with the kind of attention to detail that only artisanal work can deliver. The result? A soft, enveloping light — perfect for moments of relaxation and quiet conversation under the lake sky.
The lighting design was curated by Silvia Perego – In-Visible Lab, who transformed light into a sensory experience.
As she explains: “The night is silence, reflection, intimacy – and the light we add must protect that dimension.”
This light doesn’t intrude, it embraces. It doesn’t overwhelm, it accompanies.
The terraces become a space to be lived in at any time of day, where the beauty of the landscape blends with the comfort of hospitality and the warmth of carefully crafted lighting.
A project that speaks of more than just a space — it tells a story of how we choose to inhabit beauty.
