Soundlight has been a model of Brass Brothers &co. collection from Il Bronzetto since January 2019. This model of lamp is capable of transmitting, in addition to light, also music or any sound. The new soundlight is a great revolution compared to the first model based on the traditional Bluetooth speaker and source. The innovation consists on the fact that the speaker has been replaced by a pair of "exciters": these, make the whole lamp body vibrate and emit sound waves, the innovation is completed by a hi-fi source that integrates amplifier and DSP. All this is driven by powerful open source software: Volumio.
Volumio is able to play any type of audio file or stream, also supporting high quality lossless encodings. Its interface is extremely flexible and adapts to any type of client, PC, tablet and smartphone.
