From La Spezia to Paris. Mattia Curlante’s dream come true.
An interior design studio specializing in the food sector.
Bakeries, pastry shops, fishmongers, and gelaterias are the core business of this practice, which, year after year, has managed to establish a significant presence in the local market.
“I am deeply convinced that a small artist hides within each of us,” writes Curlante in the studio’s website presentation—this is the foundational idea from which he began, aiming to offer clients personalized and unique retail spaces.
“My work differs from traditional architecture,” he explains. “I myself am not an architect, because here it’s not necessary to have studied architecture to work in interior design. I graduated from the Technical Institute and learned everything in the field, starting with my previous experience at a specialized company in Ceparana after returning from Australia. I carved out this niche for myself: many of us work in this field here, but I focus on our strengths—an obsessive research into materials, the desire to propose new solutions, and to enjoy what we do. We are not the most famous for now, but many of those who need to furnish a pastry shop or bakery come to us: we have become a point of reference.”
A note from Il Bronzetto
Studio MK Idées has chosen Il Bronzetto once again for one of its signature food-design projects: a brass hook shaped like a croissant, created for a new spot in the Ville Lumière.
A playful detail handmade in our Florentine workshop—where craftsmanship meets creativity.
We are proud that Studio MK Idées has chosen Il Bronzetto once again for one of its distinctive creations dedicated to the world of food: a croissant-shaped brass hook, designed especially for the Ville Lumière.
A small object with great personality — crafted entirely by hand in our Florentine workshop that reflects both the playful precision of Mattia Curlante’s vision and our enduring commitment to artisanal excellence.
