In the landscape of contemporary design, there are objects that go beyond their function to become true architectural statements. Edge, the door handle designed by OmniDe Architecture Studio and manufactured by Il Bronzetto, is one of them.
A project that, in 2025, received four major international recognitions, confirming its role as a balanced synthesis of formal research, technical precision, and craftsmanship.
An object born from architecture
Designed by Raffaele Oppido together with the OmniDe team, Edge interprets the everyday gesture of opening a door as a design experience. Its faceted surfaces, sharp geometries, and precise cuts recall the language of contemporary architecture, transforming a functional element into a sculptural presence.
Entirely manufactured by Il Bronzetto in Florence, Edge is the result of an encounter between advanced design and artisanal metalworking, with finishes refined down to the smallest detail and a careful focus on the relationship between light, material, and form. The possibility of combining multiple finishes within a single piece further reinforces the distinctive character of the project.
