The collaboration between Il Bronzetto and Alejandra Sarmiento stems from a shared vision: to create spaces where identity, material, and storytelling coexist in perfect balance. A design dialogue that finds its expression in the Todos Santos Boutique Hotel, where the designer’s intervention moves with sensitivity between preservation and innovation.

Alejandra Sarmiento envisioned a project capable of preserving the historic character of the 1890 building while guiding it toward a new idea of contemporary luxury. The original façade remains as a distinctive and defining element, while the interiors unfold into a more layered narrative: exposed brick arches, hand-painted murals, rich materials, and bespoke furnishings create an intense and enveloping atmosphere inspired by the colors of the Baja California desert. Each space becomes a narrative refuge, where past and present interact with natural elegance.

It is within this vision that Il Bronzetto finds its place, contributing its artisanal and material language. In a context defined by warm tones and tactile surfaces, brass accents emerge as elements of light and reflection: handles, tables, and lighting pieces become details that shape the space without overwhelming it.

Among these, the Heliconia wall light from the Hortus line finds its ideal placement. Chosen for its balance between decorative strength and restraint, it integrates seamlessly into the project, reinforcing the idea of a nature that is evoked, never intrusive, which defines the entire hotel. As Alejandra Sarmiento explains: “I chose Heliconia because I wanted the space to feel alive, but in a very subtle way. Its silhouette is elegant and distinctive, and it helped reinforce the balance I was looking for between decorative richness and simplicity.”

The collaboration between Il Bronzetto and Alejandra Sarmiento goes beyond the simple inclusion of decorative elements: it is a dialogue between aligned visions, where design and craftsmanship meet to create authentic atmospheres. An example of how a project can become a shared narrative, where every detail contributes to shaping a unique experience.

When details become part of the project

This becomes especially clear in completed interiors.

At Villa Gli Arcipressi, in the hills of Florence, custom-made brass handles and knobs become part of a shared material language between architecture, furnishings and decoration.

At Villa La Marchesina, in Puglia, bespoke brass handles inspired by local fruits and plants connect craftsmanship, territory and contemporary design.

In the projects by Archicona Studio, instead, knobs and handles become tools for personalisation. Collections such as Oceano and Chalet introduce forms inspired by the marine world and the forest, giving each interior a distinctive identity.

Three different languages, one shared principle: the handle is not simply added at the end of the project. It is part of it.

Design and personalisation

With over 100 models of handles and knobs, Bronzetto offers shapes and inspirations suitable for very different kitchen styles, from essential geometries to more organic and decorative forms.

The finish also plays an important role, allowing each detail to create contrast, blend with the surrounding materials or stand out as a precious accent.

And when required, dimensions, proportions and details can be developed to measure.
