A dialogue between architecture and craftsmanship: Il Bronzetto and CIPIUELLE Architecture & Interior Design
Founded in 2002 from the professional and personal partnership of Camilla Lapucci and Lapo Bianchi Luci, CIPIUELLE Architecture & Interior Design is a Florence-based studio that has developed a distinctive, refined and deeply contemporary design vision over time. Architect and interior designer, partners in both life and work, the two founders share a constant creative dialogue shaped by subtle balances between affinities and differences, comparison and synthesis.
An approach that takes form in projects conceived as true sartorial works: calibrated, sophisticated and strongly identity-driven spaces, built around the client’s lifestyle and an idea of measured, timeless luxury.
Bespoke projects between residential and hospitality
CIPIUELLE’s work ranges from private residences — historic villas, exclusive apartments and lofts — to luxury hospitality and fine dining, as well as high-end retail spaces and boutiques. Each project is born from a careful listening to both context and client, with the aim of translating practical needs and personal desires into coherent, enduring design solutions.
Alongside architectural and interior design, the studio also develops art direction, graphic design and product design, collaborating with selected Italian brands in the design and lifestyle sector to create bespoke furnishings and custom solutions. A transversal research practice, capable of moving across different scales and languages while maintaining a strong and consistent identity.
Over the years, CIPIUELLE has also developed recognized expertise in luxury wellness, integrating the theme of wellbeing into residential and hospitality projects and collaborating with leading companies such as Starpool on projects dedicated to private clients.
Villa Gli Arcipressi: listening to architecture
A clear expression of this approach is Villa Gli Arcipressi, a 15th-century farmhouse overlooking Florence, transformed into a private residence through a measured and respectful renovation.
As the studio explains:
“The project for Villa Gli Arcipressi was born from listening to the building itself. The style was not imposed, but allowed to emerge from the villa’s identity, with the aim of enhancing it without altering its character, preserving the original layout and intervening through successive layers.”
The relationship with the client played a central role: a shared experience built on trust and a common vision, where design and everyday life naturally intertwine.
Il Bronzetto: details that become architecture
Within this dialogue between history and contemporaneity, the collaboration with Il Bronzetto takes shape. The company contributed chandeliers, lanterns and numerous bespoke brass details, conceived as an integral part of the architecture.
“We consistently use Il Bronzetto in our projects not only for lighting, but also for special accessories, handles and one-of-a-kind pieces designed ad hoc,” says the studio.
For CIPIUELLE, Il Bronzetto embodies the essence of Florentine craftsmanship: technical expertise, extreme attention to detail and the ability to reinterpret classical materials and forms through a contemporary language. Creations that go beyond mere decorative elements, becoming identity-defining features that dialogue with historic architecture without mimicking it, playing a decisive role in shaping the atmosphere of the spaces.
A conscious balance
Villa Gli Arcipressi is the result of a precise balance: between past and present, design and life, vision and material. A home shaped through relationships, listening and conscious choices, where luxury is measured in the quality of detail, the harmony of spaces and the ability to transform an idea into a lived experience.
A philosophy that naturally unites CIPIUELLE Architecture & Interior Design and Il Bronzetto, rooted in shared values: respect for context, a deep attention to materiality, and a vision of design as a coherent, layered and enduring narrative.
