Artemisia Cocktail Bar: where light meets art

In the heart of Florence, inside the prestigious Hotel Savoy, a new immersive cocktail bar has opened: Artemisia — a tribute to the great seventeenth-century painter Artemisia Gentileschi.
A project that blends art, design, and mixology into a sensory experience where light takes center stage and painting becomes atmosphere.

A Contemporary Tribute to a Master of Light

The walls come alive with immersive wallpapers, theatrical lighting, and female figures drawn from Artemisia’s masterpieces — Judith, Cleopatra, Susanna.
A luminous and emotional narrative curated by Studio C14 and Olga Polizzi, Head of Design at Rocco Forte Hotels, transforming the space into a living, breathing scenography.

Bronzetto’s Contribution: Light and Matter

We are proud to have taken part in this unique project, contributing two elements that embody our philosophy of craftsmanship and innovation:

  • Soundlight, our integrated system combining lighting and sound diffusion for a truly multisensory experience.

  • A custom-designed lamp, created specifically for the bar counter, designed to interact with surfaces and enhance the interplay of light and reflection.

Every detail was conceived to create an environment where art and light merge, evoking the same emotion one feels when standing before one of Artemisia’s paintings.

When Art Becomes an Experience

At Artemisia, the heroines of Gentileschi’s paintings appear not to recount pain, but to celebrate the aesthetic strength and luminous power of her art.
A playful, almost profane homage that frees the artist from the weight of her biography, revealing the pure beauty of her vision — and offering guests the magic of a place where art, design, and hospitality speak the same language.
