CLASSIC STYLE
A historic residence which “narrates” the past reinterpreting the classic style of an age full of decorations, friezes and sumptuous furnishings. An internal restyling inspired by the parisian residences’ atmospheres, in which boiserie and pastel tones of the walls and the tapestry are perfectly integrated with antiques, recalling the different styles of the past ages through which the residence has passed over the years.
ORIGINAL ELEMENTS AND ANTIQUES
The fireplace of ‘700 was the main element which, as a director of a silent orchestra, coordinated the other salon’s furnishings and also the ones of the dining room and the bedrooms. The fireplace, restored and working, is surrounded by a wonderful shaped brass plate tailor-made by Il Bronzetto: a precious protection for the original oak parquet flooring. The style of the floor lamp and of the boutillotte of the Luxury Foundry collection, as well as the mirror and the chandelier with 18 lights dating back to the Florence capital city’s period, recall the age and the acanthus’ leaves decorations on the fireplace’s architrave, which decorate the bed’s headboard, the cabinet’s doors, and the sconce’s arm overlooking the bath in the patronal room, a classic piece of the Timeless collection by Il Bronzetto.
TWO STARS IN THE KITCHEN
The only part of the house markedly modern and technological is the kitchen, with standard of a stared restaurant for the materials used and the HIGH TECH accessories. The LAMINAM, a marble sand paste “reinforced” by others chemical compounds, which make it highly resistant to scretches, and washable with every kind of product, was chosen for the floors and top of bathrooms and kitchen because it seems like a real CALACATTA marble, so at first and not expert sight it looks like the original Carrara marble. Its dark grey streaks with golden touches and the star suspensions of the line Geometrie by Il Bronzetto, original style of the historical Florentine noble residences, complete the circle creating continuity with the salon’s classicism.
